Helen Thrasher

Helen Elizabeth Elsner Thrasher, age 99, of Mableton, Georgia passed away August 19, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA with Dr. David Maddox officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia. She was preceded in death by Harold Fred Thrasher and Roy Benjamin Thrasher.

Mrs. Thrasher was a native and lifelong resident of Cobb County, GA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: five children: Roy Clifford Thrasher of Austell, GA, Beverly (Richard) McCravy of Mableton, GA, Elizabeth Maxine McDuffie of Powder Springs, GA, Phillis Davis of Lithia Springs, GA and Shelia Janice Walker of Woodstock, GA; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Johnny Elsner, Jesse Elsner and Virgil Elsner and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
