Helen Robertson

Helen Leigh Tucker Robertson, age 90, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Clayton Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Cedar Bluff, AL, Mrs. Robertson moved to Powder Springs in 1986. She taught singing school at Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Fort Payne, AL where she met her husband, H.D., and was the pianist for 30 years. Locally, she was a member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery and media center, and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also loved gardening, reading and cooking. Her family will miss her homemade biscuits and cornbread. She is preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Robertson, in 2016.

Survivors include: Son, Ron (Kathy) Robertson, Fort Myers, FL and Donna (Steve) Nutting, Dallas, GA; 3 Siblings, Nell Loveless, Cedar Bluff, AL, Harry Tucker, Powder Springs, GA and Larry Tucker, Sarasota, FL; 2 Grandchildren, Jeremy (Trish) Robertson and Zach (Kira) Robertson; 2 Great Grandchildren, Taylor Robertson and Hunter Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen Robertson's memory to the Kenya Mission Effort at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.
