Gladys Adams

Gladys Davis Adams, age 90, of Marietta, GA passed away April 24, 2020.
Mrs. Adams was a native and lifelong resident of Ellijay. She worked as a secretary at the Gilmer County Extension service and as a Floral Designer at Ellijay Florist for many years. After relocating to Rome, GA, she worked at the State Soil and Water Conservation Service until her retirement at age 62.
She was an active member of the Ellijay Chapter of the Eastern Star. She had a passion for gardening and building projects around her home. Everyone always enjoyed her beautiful Christmas lighting displays.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hagood and spouse Randy of Powder Springs, GA, Brother- in -Law, Rich A. Eller of Marietta, GA, Royce Adams and spouse Deborah, of Gainesville, FL, Tami Thornton and spouse Rusty of Watkinsville, GA, Randy Adams and spouse Elizabeth, of Clayton, GA and Ray Adams of Atlanta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys Adam's memory to St. Judes Children's Fund or your local Humane Society.
