Gilbert Warren Thompson, age 82, of Marietta, GA passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday, January 25th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12pm until 2pm prior to the service.
Born in Gainesville, FL, Mr. Thompson served for 5 years in the United States Army, He retired from the Georgia Air National Guard at Dobbins Air Force Base as a Master Sergeant with 20 years of service.

Wife: Margot Thompson, Marietta, GA
2 Daughters: Angela (Berry) Roper, Smyrna, GA
Michelle (Barry) Peardon, Jasper, GA
Brother: Perry Thompson, St. Louis, MO
5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
