Geraldine Chadwick

Geraldine Chadwick, age 89, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 28, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Minister Scott Franks officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. Mrs. Chadwick was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Lee Chadwick, daughter Judy Chadwick Stowe and great-granddaughter Faith Ruby Chadwick.

Mrs. Chadwick was a native of Alabama and lived in the Atlanta area most of her life. Mrs. Chadwick was a member of Burnt Hickory Church of Christ. She retired from the Department of Fish and Wildlife as an Auditor. She was a volunteer and Treasurer of the Auxiliary at Cobb Hospital for many years. She loved to cook and bake. She published a cook book and sold them in her daughter's honor, and all proceeds went to Tranquility Hospice at Cobb. She was a avid shopper, and loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include: son: David (Carol) Chadwick of Marietta; three granddaughters: Wendy Stowe Zupa, Kim Stowe Gibson, Cristie Chadwick Buffington, two grandsons: Jonathan Lee Chadwick and Nathan Lee Chadwick and ten great-grandchildren; son-in-law: Larry Stowe; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
