Frances JoAnn Tidwell, age 71 of Marietta, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 2 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Wayne Fain officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton.
Mrs. Tidwell lived in Cobb County for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Central Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tidwell is preceded in death by her father, John Hill Jones and is survived by her mother, Magdalene “Pat” Jones; husband, Gerald Tyrone Tidwell; 2 daughters: Tracy Tidwell-Picklesimer of Dallas, GA and Kelly Tidwell-Morse of Phoenix, AZ; brother, James Allen Jones of Wedowee, AL; 6 grandchildren: Ashley, Hayley, Amber, Gavin, Chase, Parker and 1 great-grandson, Rylin.
