Evon L. Satterfield, age 89, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. A Private Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
Born in Baxley, GA, Ms. Satterfield moved to Marietta in 1968. She retired from Curtis 1000 Printing Company after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, and for many years was a very active and involved member of St. Philip United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed gardening and reading the Bible.
Survivors include: Daughter, Melanie Evon Burris, Marietta, GA; Son, Greg (Julia) Satterfield, Smyrna, GA; 5 Siblings, Lowell Lightsey, Lawrenceville, GA, Buncum (Carol) Lightsey, Houschton, GA, Cynthia Atkins, Baxley, GA, Elaine Lightsey, Baxley, GA and Iris Aspinwall, Baxley, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Hannah (Brian) Spear, Shannon (Alex) Arkin and Madison Satterfield; 5 Great Grandchildren, Avery Smith, Bella and Zoey Arkin, and Addilyn and Owen Spear.
