Elizabeth Gamble Garner

Elizabeth Gamble Garner, age 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away peacefully in her sleep September 24, 2017. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son James Eric Garner.

Elizabeth was a native of Atlanta and had spent most of her life in Cobb County. She retired from Cobb County School as a Bus Driver. She loved boating and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: her husband of 56 years: Larry Garner of Marietta; daughter: Laurie Ann (Dennis) McClane of Marietta; brother: Rodney Gamble of Texas; sister-in-law: Susan (Henry) Landrum of Lithia Springs; two grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
