Edith A. Greathouse, age 87, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away August 16, 2019. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Edwin Greathouse, Sr. in 2017.
Mrs. Greathouse was a native of Atlanta and had lived in Cobb County since 1965. She was an avid crocheter and loved to cook. She loved to spend time with her loving family.
Survivors include: son: Eddie (Debbie) Greathouse, Jr. of Powder Springs, GA; one grandson: Justin D. (Crystal) Greathouse; two great-grandchildren: Lily and Laine Greathouse and several nieces, nephews and long time friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
