Douglas Cleo Hamilton

Douglas Cleo Hamilton, age 75, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 5, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Macland Road Church of Christ in Marietta, GA. Interment will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

Douglas was a native of Georgetown, TX, and has resided in Powder Springs, GA for the last 34 years. He was Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was a mechanical engineer and retired in 2011 from Lockheed Martin. He was a member of Macland Road Church of Christ and served as deacon over missions. He loved reading his Bible, military history and airplanes.

Survivors include: wife of 41 years Susan Hamilton of Powder Springs, GA; two daughters: Tiffany (James) Bryant of North Aurora, IL and Hillary (William) Hutto of Canton, GA; six grandchildren: James, Makayla, Barrett, Aiden, Shelby and Kole; sister: Mary Brooks of Warrenburg, MO; brother: Kenneth Hamilton of El Dorado, AR and several nieces and nephews.
