Dorothy Louise Smith

Dorothy Louise Smith, age 79, of Sparta, GA passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Rd. in Marietta with Rev. William I. Sauser officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Mrs. Smith was born in Atlanta, GA and was retired from Avondale High School where she worked in the cafeteria. She previously worked for the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Billy George Smith, who passed away in September of 2012. Survivors include her sons, Randy (Lauren) Smith of Marietta and Ed (Sue) Smith of Dawsonville; sisters, Carolyn Clayton of Canton and Betty Rivers of Douglasville; grandchildren, Greg (Maggie) Smith and Alicia Smith; nephews and their families.
