Dorothy Hugh, age 77, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away August 8, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Ms. Hugh was a native of Jamaica and migrated to New Haven, CT in February of 1981. Then she retired from Sargent and Company after 20 years of service. She moved to Cobb County in 2004. She loved to read, crochet, and work in her puzzle books. Ms. Hugh was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marietta where she loved to sing in the choir and was apart of the Mother's Ministries. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: daughters: Audrey (Chris) Earle of Kennesaw, GA and Cloraine (Ray) Munroe of New Haven, CT; sister: Vivine Smith of New Haven, CT; six grandchildren: Christina Artis, Andrew Munroe, Spencer Munroe, Cameron Munroe, Alexandra Earle and Palmer Earle; nephews: George and Vindell Smith.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
