Donald Kenneth Moses, age 79 of Marietta, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, 1673 Jamerson Road, Marietta on November 14, 2014 at 3PM with reception to follow.
Mr. Moses lived in Cobb County for over 50 years. He owned and operated J. Hall Contracting and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He also served as Deputy Sheriff in Chatham County and Cherokee County for many years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Moses of Marietta and his son, Jon and wife, Allison Moses of Alpharetta; 2 granddaughters: Courtney and Brooklyn Moses; 1 brother, Robert Moses of Ocean City, MD and 1 sister, Sandee Martin of Upperco, MD. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers please make a donation in “Memory of Don Moses” to the Wounded Warriors Project.
