Dianna Lynne Carway

Beautiful, beloved Dianna (Dee) Carway was released from her two-year battle with cancer on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the age of 52. A fight she waged with grace, good humor and not an ounce of self-pity or complaint. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA.
Dee was many things to many people - all of them good.
Loving and beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Caring sister, aunt, cousin, niece, grandchild, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend. And of course, loving mom to Snoopy, George, Gus, Niko, Murphy, Buster, Kitty and Church.
People often remarked on her great beauty. In Dee's case, it was internal beauty that manifested externally. She was beautiful inside and out.
Dee is survived by her husband, Michael, their children, Miranda and Michael, her beautiful, sweet granddaughter, Denim, and Aset Gentry, Denim's mother, all of whom reside in the Atlanta area. Also by her brothers Greg Yergens (Colleen) and Cort Bailey (Sherry); nieces Allison Yergens, Morgan and Lucy Bailey, and Jillian and Maree Carway; nephews Tanner and Tyler Yergens, and Justin Bailey; step-niece Sydney Meade and son, Grayson; aunts and uncles Sharon Fenton, Faye Richmond, Verna and Ronnie Rice, Allen and Nancy Iliff, John and Carlyn Novello; cousins Mike and Thom Fenton, Scott and Shawn Iliff, Jeff Rice and Kimberly Blocker; mother-in-law Joanne Carway; sisters-in-law Cynthia and Robin Carway; and, brothers-in-law Mark and Timothy Carway.
She is preceded by her mother, Patricia Iliff, father Gustav Ness, and step-father, Ed Bailey.
A native Floridian, Dee was a 25-year resident of Powder Springs, Ga.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
