SFC Daryl Gary Jones, age 57, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 18, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 21, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will be held 12:00 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Preceded in death by his parents and sisters.
Daryl was born in Massachusetts, grew up Gainesville, GA and lived in Powder Springs since 1999. He retired as a Sergeant First Class with the US Army in 2014.
Survivors include: wife 24 years: Ava Jones of Powder Springs; son: Aaron Jones of Powder Springs; daughter: Sarah Jones of Powder Springs.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
