Darryl Pope

Darryl Scott Pope, age 57, of Dallas, Georgia passed away March 18, 2020. Memorial Services have been tentatively scheduled for 1pm on August 15, 2020 at Macland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 1pm prior to the service at the church. THESE TIMES COULD CHANGE IF GOVERNMENTAL RESTRICTIONS REQUIRE US TO DO SO.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Pope and brother Rick Pope.

Darryl was a native of Alabama. He graduated from Owensboro High School in Owensboro, KY and has spent the last five years in Dallas, GA. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA where he was a member of the choir and involved in the Youth Department. He was Co Owner/ Vice President of Allsouth Renovations Inc.

Survivors include: wife: Kim Pope of Dallas, GA; two daughters and son-in-laws: Miranda Faye and Charles Overbey of Hiram, GA and Chelsea Lyn and Adam Dawkins of Powder Springs, GA; mother, Lois Chamblee Pope; two sisters: Donna (Robert) Gregory and Faye (Ronnie) Moorman both of Owensboro, KY; grandson: Wyatt Scott Overbey of Hiram, GA.
