Darren Lamar Camp, age 61, of Dallas, Georgia passed away June 29, 2022. Private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at New Hope Memorial Gardens in Dallas, GA. Interment will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens in Dallas, Georgia.
Darren was a native and lifelong resident of Georgia. He retired from the City of Marietta in 2017 after 30 years. He enjoyed his retirement especially keeping his grandson, Simon. He was a kind and generous person helping many. He loved cars, mainly Fords, he also had a love for all animals and especially cats. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include: wife of 23 years: Joan Elaine Camp; sons: Jerod E. Slaton and Jesse E. (Sarah) Slaton; grandson: Simon Silas Slaton; parents: Lamar S. Camp and Eleanor M. Camp and many other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darren Camp's memory to Paulding County Humane Society.
