Cliff Vincent Garner, age 66, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Caroline Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.
A native of Cobb County, Mr. Garner lived in Augusta for a number of years where he worked as a welder for the Local 150 for over 30 years. He was married at 17 years old to his sweetheart, Charlene Sutherland, when she was 15. They have remained in love for all these years and had 2 children together.
Survivors include: 4 children: Angela Bagley and husband Robert Marianchuk, Dallas, GA, Renee Cantrell and husband Jeff McCleary, Temple, GA, Brandy Garner, Hephzibah, GA, Chad Garner, Augusta, GA; brother: Larry Garner and wife Anita, Acworth, GA; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
