Charles David Thomas Sr.

Charles David Thomas, Sr., age 82, of Dallas, Georgia passed away September 10, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Private Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Ann Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a native of Lenoir City, TN moving to Mableton, GA in 1960. He was a Millwright with Ford Motor Company. He was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church and most recently New Genesis Baptist Church in Hiram, GA.

Survivors include: wife: Christine Thomas of Dallas, GA; four children: David (Sue) Thomas, Jr. of Gainesville, GA, Anthony (Belinda) Thomas of Villa Rica, GA, Matthew (Michelle) Thomas of Douglasville, GA and Sara Thomas of Lithia Springs, GA; one step-daughter: Tanya M. Dale of Ball Ground, GA; six grandchildren: Harrison, Meagan, Madison, Alexis, A.J. and Avery; four brothers: Ken (Bonnie) Thomas, Jerry (Cathy) Thomas, Terry Thomas and Perry (Debra) Thomas; sister: Peggy Lynn and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.

The family has requested that everyone who attends please use social distancing and wear a mask.
