Charles V. Reuter

June 6, 1930 — September 11, 2019

Thank you all for praying for my family and especially for my dad. As most of you know he fell last week and this morning he died. My sisters and I were in the room with him and we played his beloved Mozart for him to his last breath. Captain Charles Reuter Was once a four year old farmboy in Minnesota. He looked up to the sky and saw something so rare,a plane flying overhead. This was 1934. At that point he said that is what I want to be I want to fly one of those. At 17 he joined the Army Air Corps. Rose up to the rank of sergeant and then because of his knucklehead antics over and over would get knocked down to BuckPrivate but then he went to Officer Candidate School when it became the Air Force. And his dream came true my father was a refueling tanker pilot in the Korean and Vietnam Wars He went on to become an international commercial pilot flying to all the continents except Antarctica, for the rest of his career. My mom, sisters and my brother, Our husbands Mike and Doug, as well as our children And his great grandchildren will miss him so much. I hope you enjoy these pictures of him. Rest in peace Dad
