Charles Oliver Bridges

Charles O. Bridges, age 82, of Smyrna, GA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, June 10, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.



Born in Athens, GA, Mr. Bridges was a veteran of the United States Navy and Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. He then worked in the Distribution Center of Schwinn Bicycles in Atlanta. He was a member of the Smyrna Moose Lodge, and of Floyd Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Locke.
