Casey D. Sullivan

November 21, 1962 — June 17, 2021

Casey Dominic Sullivan left this world June 17, 2021 quickly and unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife, Angel and their two sons, Christian and Liam, his brother Chuck, sister Nancy and his goddaughter Caitlin, his mother Kay, his beloved German Shepards, Porsche and Gunner - and a host of extended family members who will miss him deeply. Casey died a loved and important man. He was known as a man of service for his family and fellow man. He was a man of unshakable conviction and of integrity and honor - which is becoming increasingly rare but not before passing own these qualities to his sons.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 21, 1962 and raised a Texan in Houston, he grew up wearing jeans and boots and embracing his life in Texas. He went on to graduate from his beloved Texas AandM with a business degree. Later Casey met his wife Angel in Texas where they married and had their sons. Convincing him to move to Georgia was a tough sell because it meant leaving Texas - but a lot of good things came next. The move sparked a new career in financial planning. He and his family moved to East Cobb and were embraced in the community where his sons made lifelong beautiful friends and went on to graduate from Walton High School. He met and partnered with Marcus Ashworth, starting their own successful wealth management firm. Casey did what he always did in life - became the best. He was highlighted throughout his career in several publications as a top Atlanta wealth manager as well one of America's top financial planners.

More importantly, what people knew about Casey as a person was his deep love and passion for his family and friends, community and country. Casey was a true patriot and an incredible dad, and was active in his sons' lives - volunteering in the Boy Scouts of America, Walton Football Touchdown Club, Princeton Football Association, Lacrosse and basketball sideline score keeper and whatever else they needed. He lived for his family and helped build memories for his family that will last a lifetime - trips to Alaska, the Tetons, Yellowstone, Hawaii, white water rafting and zip lining, tropical vacations and ski trips. Angel spent a lot of time trying to keep up with the boys. He and his wife, Angel, loved to travel, and made trips to Eastern Europe, Italy, and all throughout the Caribbean islands and the United States. He and his sons, Christian and Liam, helped convert Angel to be a big fan of adventure, football, basketball and Lacrosse and they made countless trips as a family to lacrosse tournaments across the country and football games in Princeton.

Casey, a lifelong learner, an experienced motorcyclist and a grill aficionado, was larger than life. On any given weekend, he would throw on a Hawaiian shirt and apron, host friends for barbecues and introduce them to good whiskey. He was known for his generosity and genuine interest in peoples' lives, making friends everywhere he went and making people feel important to him. He could be tough and direct but he was always honest. He was a deeply spiritual man without being religious, he was a man of great curiosity and he was a driving force in so many people's lives. It only took meeting him one time to remember him for a lifetime. He will be missed.

Casey, "May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand."(Irish blessing)
