Carolyn Bishop Hilvers, age 87, of Dallas, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Graveside Services will be held 3pm on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating.
Born in Atlanta, Mrs. Hilvers had lived in Marietta for many years before moving to Columbus, GA, where she resided for 40 years before moving back to Dallas 3 years ago. She retired from New York Life, and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Marilyn Gasaway and husband Charles, Marietta
Son: Jon Gregory Bishop and wife Becky, Villa Rica
Sister: Jean Spears, Smyrna
5 Grandchildren
2 Great Grandchildren
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm Saturday at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guestbook @ www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
