Carol D. Jenkins, 46, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Sunday, March 25, 2012 in the Chapel of Mount Paran Church at 2055 Mt. Paran Road, Atlanta with Dr. David Cooper and Pastor Kent Hawkins officiating. Mrs. Jenkins will lie in state at the church from 1pm until the time of service. Graveside services will be 4pm Sunday at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Jenkins was a 1983 graduate of Osborne High School and was previously employed with Zurich Insurance as an Executive Assistant. She was a member of Mt. Paran Church where she played in the orchestra. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Jenkins, Jr., of Marietta; Parents, Shirley and J.I. Duncan of Marietta; Sisters, Alice (Doyce) Powell of Dallas and Ronda (Don) Segassie of Marietta; 6 Nieces and 3 Nephews. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her father, Edward Massey. The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2012 from 1pm-4pm and Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 5pm-8pm. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Rd. Marietta.
