Blaine Alonzo Owenby

Blaine Alonzo Owenby, age 88, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Clinton Green officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Epworth, GA, Mr. Owenby lived most of his life in Cobb County. He owned and operated Cobb County Tool and Engineering for 33 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War, and was a Deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs for 50 years. He also loved deer hunting, fishing, and prison ministry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen B. Owenby.

Survivors include: 4 Children, Bonnie (Richard) Fuscia, Cedartown, GA, Randal Blaine (Joyce) Owenby, Jemison, Al, Michael W. (Tammy) Owenby, Carrollton, GA and Rebecca Marie (Sam) Hembree, Dallas, GA; Sister, Christine (George) McWilliams, Powder Springs, GA; 9 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
