Billy Keish Harris

Billy Harris, age 63, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away December 20, 2019. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA, with a reception to follow.

Billy was born August 15, 1956 in Boyle, Mississippi. After graduating from Eastside High School in 1976, he attended Mississippi Valley State where he played football and majored in criminal justice. Bill was initiated as a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. into the Delta Phi Chapter in Fall 1978. After graduating from college in 1980, he joined the military, and moved to Georgia where he retired.

Bill was a loving husband, father, and granddad. He coached little league football and was an avid football fan. He was a person that never met a stranger. He loved traveling and spending time with his family. He was the happiest when he was sitting in his chair, watching football with his family surrounding him or working in his yard.

Bill Harris died peacefully at home December 20, 2019 after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife Zarine B. Harris, his daughter Allison Harris Bean (Michael) and granddaughters Michaela (5) and Mickenzie (3) Bean, Stepdaughter Kara Holston (Alvin) and grandchildren Harper
(3) and Lucas (1) Holston, his sister Geraldine Rash (Sammie), Bertha Harris (deceased), brothers Johnny Harris (Nette), Jimmy Harris, Greg Harris (Yvonne), and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10:30 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA
