Beverly J. Dyer

Beverly "Mam-Ma" Dyer, age 85, of Marietta, Georgia passed away September 22, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Lonnie Dyer, and son Darrell Dyer age 23.

Beverly was a native of Atlanta, GA and a life long resident of Marietta, GA. Beverly worked as the gate keeper at Al Bishop Softball Complex for 35 years. When Al Bishop Park was renovated they named and dedicated the road from the gate to the office as Beverly Dyer Walk after her, for the many times she walked up and down the road. She was a member of Welcome Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed.

She is survived by her sons Wayne Dyer of Mableton, GA, Steve (Donna) Dyer of Acworth, GA, David Dyer of Ellijay, GA and daughter Renee Dyer of Pensacola, FL. She has 12 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
