Betty Jo Vaughn

Betty Jo Vaughn, age 84, of Hiram, Georgia passed away December 17, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 20, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiram, Georgia. Preceded in death by her parents Noah Odel Meeks and Stella Edmonds Meeks and brother James Meeks.

Betty was a member of Powder Springs First Baptist Church, a graduate of Marietta High School and a LPN at Paulding Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed square dancing, board games, reading, cooking, crafts and traveling.

Survivors include: three children: Cynthia Karen (Frank) Reiff of Villa Rica, GA, Christopher Edison (Jarhonda) Vaughn of Brooks, GA and James Gregory (Trish) Vaughn of Hiram, GA; seven grandchildren: Katy Dallas, Zack Strickland, Brandon Vaughn, Daniel Vaughn, Luke Vaughn, Andy Vaughn and Bethany Vaughn; ten great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren: Elizabeth Harkness, Josh Reiff, Mary Jessup and Rebekah Hanson and fourteen step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
