Rev. Bernard "Bennie" Lange Young

Rev. Bernard Lange “Bennie” Young, age 76, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away April 6, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Bishop Keith Gunter officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Born in Johnson City, TN, Rev. Bennie Young lived most of his life throughout Georgia. He spent over 50 years of his life as a Minister and Evangelist with the Church of God, including pastoring churches in Oakdale, Summerville, Cedartown, McDonough, Tonigh, Baldwin and Hartwell. He was a current member of Connection Pointe Church of God, and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Young, in 2006.
