Beatrice "Bee" Marie Pope

Beatrice Marie Holland Pope, 85, died, Sunday, October 23, 2011. Services will be 11am Thursday at Macland Presbyterian Church, 3615 Macland Road, Powder Springs. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. Born May 15, 1926, Bee was retired from Lockheed Medical. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hendrick Pope, Sr. and is survived by her children Jane Ellen Varner and Edward M. Varner, Sr., James Hendrick Pope, Jr. and Maggi Pope, George Pope, and Beebe Sowar; grandchildren Michael Pedro and Jennifer Pedro, Katherine Anderson, Laura Mauldin and Kemp Mauldin, James Pope, Whitney Thrower and Trey Thrower, and Edward Varner, Jr.; great grandchildren Cooper Pedro, Ella Pedro, Archer Mauldin, Mason Anderson, and Lolly Thrower; sisters Linda Holland Selfridge and Bobby Bridges ; her beloved dog, Sugar Bear and nieces and nephews.
