Azilee I. Powell, age 91, of Hiram, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Philip Napier officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
Born in Moultrie, GA, Mrs. Powell moved to the Cobb County area 54 years ago. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Powell, in 2001, a son, Mike Powell, a daughter, Sherri Cramer, and a grandson, Shane Davis.
Survivors include: 5 Children, Gayle Dodd, Dallas, GA, Roger (Lyn) Powell, Panama City, FL, Barbara Henderson, Hiram, GA, Susan (Rick) Becker, Boca Raton, FL, and Mary (Paul) Christianson, Charleston, SC; Sister, Maxine (Marvin) Brown, Riverview, FL; 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
