Ann Romans

Ann R. Romans, age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Elders Reginold Findley and Lori Allen officiating.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Romans moved to Marietta 7 years ago to be with her daughter and grandchildren. She retired as a school teacher with the Cleveland Public School System. She earned her Master’s of Education (Counseling) from John Carroll University in Cleveland at the age of 67, and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. In conjunction with her career in education, Mrs. Romans also enjoyed working as a private duty nurse, and worked as a Real Estate Broker.
She was preceded in death by 14 siblings: Calvin, Rainey, Augusta, Curtis, Cecil, Alberta, Julie Bell, Annie Maria, Valeria, Cateria, Maerener, Veolia, Arelia, and one at child birth.
Survivors include:
Son: Anthony Jones and wife Loretta, Shaker Heights, Ohio
Daughter: Annetta Williams and husband Palmer, Jr., Marietta, GA
6 Grandchildren: Aryanna Jones, Anthony Jones II, Nia Williams, Palmer Williams III, Luke Williams and Tierney Stewart.
