Amanda Nicole Dodge

Amanda Nicole Dodge passed away at 36 years of age, on October 13, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. She was born on May 22, 1984 in Upland, California. She was always a "California girl". She was light and breezy and loved the ocean and sand. She is survived by her parents, Matthew and Suzanne, as well as by her siblings, Jeffrey, Travis, Wesley, Austin and Colleen.

From the time she was in high school, Amanda knew her destiny was to be a nurse. She graduated from Mercer University, Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in 2006. Amanda began her career at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, where she became a Certified Pediatric Nurse in 2009. For much of her time there, she worked with young Cystic Fibrosis patients. Furthering her career, Amanda moved on to Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center where she became a Mother and Baby nurse.

Amanda will always be remembered for her laughter and the positive affect she had on everyone she met or cared for. Her favorite cause was CF. She was very passionate for the cause of assistance to those suffering from CF, especially younger patients. She attended summer camps and took part in CF walks.
