Biography

Lawrence Darwin Freeman, 69, of Marietta passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. Services will be 11:00a.m. Friday at Roseland United Methodist Church with Reverend Nancy Willard officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson Springs, N.C.

A native of Eagle Springs, N.C., Mr. Freeman was retired from Delta/Northwest Airlines in Atlanta. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Edna "Faye" H. Freeman of Marietta; children, Brian L. Freeman and wife, Toni of Temple, GA, Lottia L. Freeman of Marietta and Leslie F. Harbour and husband, Benjamin of N. Wilkesboro, N.C.; Siblings, James Freeman of Eagle Springs, NC, Linda Britt of Indian Trails, NC, Phyllis Hannah of West End, NC and Arnold Freeman of Eagle Springs, N.C. and 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at West Cobb Funeral Home and Thursday from 5:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst, N.C.
