William E. "Bill" Taylor

William Eugene “Bill” Taylor, age 81, of Woodstock, GA, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, February 28th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Ken Smith and Pastor Jim Huntington officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Charlotte, NC, Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on the USS Bennington. He retired from Lockheed after over 46 years of employment. He was a graduate of Russell High School in Atlanta, a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, and formerly a member of the Creeper’s Car Club.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Taylor, 1 brother and 1 sister.

One Niece and Several Nephews

Donations may be made to the Senior Adult Ministry at First Baptist Church of Woodstock.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12pm until 2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
