Sarah Helen Spratlin

Sarah Helen Spratlin, age 90, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 3pm Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Powder Springs First United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Vest officiating. Burial will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.

A lifelong resident of Powder Springs, Mrs. Spratlin was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed sewing, puzzles and word scrambles. She was preceded lovingly in death by her husband of 69 years, Ralph L. Spratlin, exactly on the same day, one year apart, her parents, W.R. and Martha Jane Landers, a brother, Robert Landers and a nephew, Danny Landers.

The family would also like to recognize her caregivers, Joyce Mugo and Ruth Robinson, the nurses of WellStar Hospice, and the weekly visits from the ladies of the First United Methodist Church. Donations may be made to Powder Springs First United Methodist Church in her memory.
