Robert Allen Patterson

Robert Allen Patterson, 79, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. Bob was born in July 1936 in Washington DC to Dennis and Ruth Patterson. He graduated from Greenville High School, Greenville, SC. Bob graduated from Duke University in 1958. He then joined the Navy and was stationed in Great Lakes IL. He was a Certified Public Accounting working for Anderson Public Accounting Firm in NY. His work brought him to Atlanta in 1975. He was the principal in his own CPA firm – Patterson and Associates where he ended his career. He was a sports fanatic and was especially passionate about Duke basketball. He is survived by his wife Brenda Cahall, daughters Kay Douglass and Lesley Cerny of Atlanta and grandson Jack Douglass of Atlanta.
