Robert F. Ambler, age 81, of Kennesaw, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
A native of New York, Mr. Ambler moved to Kennesaw, GA in 1999. He retired after over 30 years of employment with Pan-American and Delta Airlines, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had a passion for jazz music, a love of sports and a talent for photography. He also enjoyed working at Publix on Wade Green Road in Kennesaw for the past 13 years. Mr. Ambler will be remembered and loved by his wife, Kathleen, his children, granddaughter, and a host of other family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association @ www.diabetes.org/Donate . The family will receive friends Saturday morning prior to the service from 10am until 11am at the funeral home. A catered reception will immediately follow the memorial service at the funeral home.
