Nancy Joan Postell

Joan Postell, age 74, of Powder Springs, passed away April 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

A native of Alabama, Mrs. Postell was raised and spent all of her life in Atlanta. She was the Secretary and Treasurer of Johnny A. Postell Drilling and Blasting, Inc. and was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church and attended Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas. Mrs. Postell enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. She loved camping, spending time at the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Postell is survived by her husband of 53 years: Johnny A. Postell; her Children: Shannon Postell, Whitney and Sonya Postell, Joe and Kate Postell and Johnny A. and Jenni Postell, Jr.; Sister: Kay Mason; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 12noon until the time of service.
