Milton Paul Maddox

Milton Paul Maddox, age 83, of Austell, GA passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Smyrna with Rev. Doug Huggins and Rev. T.P. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 2pm.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Maddox lived in Cobb County for most of his life. He retired from Universal Films after 42 years of employment, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Maddox was active with many organizations, including serving as a Boy Scout Leader, coaching little league ball, serving on the PTA and Booster Clubs at Pebblebrook High School, Hand Radio and C.B. Clubs, riding motorcycles and working as a projectionist at drive-in theaters. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy D. Maddox, a daughter-in-law, Melodie Lee Maddox, and a brother, Clyde Maddox.

13 Great Grandchildren: Mackenze Knuth, D.J. Knuth, Trenton Angel, Chloe Goodwin, Noah Goodwin, Amelia Maddox, Chastity Duffy, Drake Collum, Anna Collum, Jennifer Posey, Chris McDonald, Courtney Maddox, and Jake Maddox
Great-Great Grandchildren: Baylee McDonald, Louella Collum and Sienna Porter
