John Patrick Burke

John Patrick Burke, age 55, of Fairhope, AL passed away April 16, 2016. A funeral mass will be held at 4:30 pm on Friday, April 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street, Marietta with Monsignor Walsh officiating.

John is preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Anna Burke. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Eileen Burke; siblings: Larry (Barbara) Burke, Bill (Janis) Burke, and Lisa Burke; nephew and nieces: Nick and Emily Burke and Brittany Clark; his best friend, Jeff (Sonjia) Cantlebary; and goddaughters: Katherine and Elizabeth Cantlebary.

John was a 1983 graduate of Georgia Tech where he was active in and a former Board Member of Drama Tech. He was a former member and director of club meetings for the Dunwoody Rotary, a Board Member of Big Brother/Little Brother of Atlanta, and a former member of the Jaycees. John earned a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and his professional career took him all over the world as a Vice President of Supply Chain at Teledyne Continental Motors, Meals Solutions & Enhancers at Kraft-Heinz Foods, and owner of Burke International Consulting. He was a passionate antique and coin collector.
