John R. Brown, Sr., age 84 of Marietta, passed away August 19, 2015. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA.
Mr. Brown lived in Augusta, GA before moving to the Atlanta area over 60 years ago. He was a carpenter by trade, a mason and proudly served in the Army National Guard.
Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents: Johnnie and May Brown and his wife, Mary Ellen Brown and is survived by his children: Sheila Seabolt of Smyrna, John R. “Buddy” Brown, Jr of Marietta, Pat Calvert of Marietta and Wayne Brown; sister, Rita Johnson of Augusta, brother, Sonny Brown of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
