May 16, 1935 — March 9, 2017

Joanne Metcalf Gann, age 81, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Monday, March 13th at Macland Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Walker and Rev. Ron Lomax officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
A native of Vermont, Mrs. Gann moved to the Atlanta area in 1954. She retired from A and A Exterminators after 20 years as a secretary, and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was also a member of Macland Baptist Church, where she was active in the W.M.U.
Survivors:
Husband of 60 years: Ernest Lamar Gann
Children: Karen (Ron) Lomax, Rhonda (David) Tibbs, and Patricia Branscum
Grandchildren: Ryan Branscum, Ashetin (Will) Brooks, Braden (Katelynn) Lomax, Kaylan (Sam) Altis, and Kelsey (Daniel) Shields
Great Grandchildren: Coleson Brooks, Peyton Brooks and Rosalynn Lomax
Many Nieces and Nephews
