James Gordon Thrower

Mr. James G. Thrower, age 69, of Marietta, GA passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 28th at Hiram First United Methodist Church. His cremains will be interred at 2pm at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Thrower graduated from the Lovett School, then earned his BS from Auburn University. He had several employers, including J.A. Jones Construction Company, the U.S. Mosaic Tile Company, T & M Construction, M. Garcia & Sons, Custom Tile Company and Williams Tile and Marble Company. His hobbies included boating, antique car restorations and theatre organs.
He is survived by his sister, Mary E. Thrower, and several cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hiram First United Methodist Church, 324 Hiram-Douglasville Hwy. Hiram, GA 30141.
