James D. Groover, age 74, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away June 5, 2018. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Powder Springs First United Methodist Church in Powder Springs.
Mr. Groover was a member of Powder Springs First United Methodist Church. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and a graduate of Berry College. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: wife of 48 years Kathryn Groover of Powder Springs; son: James and Karina Groover, III of Powder Springs; daughter: Julie and Mark Oestreich of Powder Springs; six grandchildren; sister: Judi Bass of Texas.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Powder Springs First United Methodist Church in Powder Springs.
