Hugh Franklin Plummer

Hugh Franklin Plummer Jr. 68, of Powder Springs passed away Monday, November 25, 2013. Graveside services will be 2pm Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with military honors.
Mr. Plummer was employed as a Truck Driver with Recall and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 294, American Legion Riders 294, Sons of American Legion 294 and was a Sgt with the Cobb County Campus Police at Walton High School. Mr. Plummer was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Franklin Plummer Sr. and Doris June Plummer.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Plummer of Powder Springs; Children, Michele Owenby of Woodstock, Christopher Plummer of Dallas and Kimberly Gassett of Rockmart; Sister, Kris O’Kelley of Bethlehem, GA; Grandchildren, Michael Owenby, Christian Owenby, Savannah Gassett, Gracie Plummer, Sarah Gassett, Karen Plummer, Christopher Plummer and Sydney Lin Gassett.
The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 6pm-9pm.
