Dorcas Ann Hammock, 72, was born 12/1943 and died at 12:43 pm Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA after a short illness.
Dorcas was a native of Wadley, AL but had lived in the Dallas, GA area for many years. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren Ethan and Jake. She also loved grocery shopping and yard work.
She is survived by two sons: Lyn Hammock of Summerville, SC and Michael S. (Jennifer) Hammock of Dallas, GA; sister: Melinda Wilkins Miller of Wetumpka, AL; brother: David Wilkins of Wadley, AL; and grandchildren Ethan and Jake Hammock.
The family will receive friends 12:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday, June 19, 2016 at the Family home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jennifer's Pet Rescue at 2271 McPherson Church Road
