Donna Lee Law

Donna Lee Law, age 84, of Hiram, GA passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 30th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Julie Crosby and Mr. Bernie Hoffman officiating. Entombment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Donna was born in Montana and was the youngest and last surviving of 4 children. She was raised in Montana and Washington where she met and married her husband, John, while he was serving at Larson's Air Force base. The family moved to Southern California in 1959 where she and John raised their 6 children. She was a loving mother and housewife. Their home was the hangout for the neighborhood and was always filled of love and laughter.
Donna was heavily involved with their church in Palmdale. Here she lead the alter guild, coordinated weddings, was a council member and loved hosting a bible study. After moving to Georgia, she stayed active with a church family. She had many likes and hobbies, including reading, arts and crafts, painting, gardening, sewing, upholstering furniture and cake decorating. Above all, her love of the Lord and her faith were most important to her.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Bruce J. Law and Russell J. Law.
She is survived by an extended family including her husband, John E. of 62 years; 4 children, Allen J. Law, West Hollywood, CA; Mariann Carlsen, Merced, CA; Ruthann “Hannie” (Philip) Miller, Acworth, GA; John J. (SanDee) Law, Acworth, GA; 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many more she considered “her kids”.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Hiram, GA.
