David "Dave" Holzhausen

David Scot Holzhausen, age 57, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.
Dave grew up in Midland, Michigan. He met his wife, Mary Beth, while working in Tennessee and they were married in 1984. Always dedicated and conscientious, he was deeply proud of his work and enjoyed pointing out projects that he had worked on throughout the Atlanta area. He worked in construction for more than 30 years. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his family and dogs. He enjoyed watching and playing sports and was an avid record collector.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Holzhausen of Kennesaw; daughter, Anne Marie Holzhausen of Athens and brothers, Jeff Holzhausen of Grayson, GA, Jerry Holzhausen of Midland, MI and Jack Holzhausen of Ahmeek, MI.
Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends during a reception held at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross.
