Clyde Leroy Ross

December 18, 1928 — February 19, 2016

Clyde Leroy Ross, age 87, of Dallas passed away February 19, 2016. A Graveside Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory from 10:30 until 11:30 am before the Graveside Service on Monday.

Mr. Ross is preceded in death by his parents: S.L. and Bertie Ross and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Ross of Dallas and his son, Craig (Lynn) Ross of Marietta; grandchildren: Danielle McGivney of Vinings and Christopher Ross of Marietta; great grandchild, Lucas Ross.

Leroy was born in Five Mile Creek, AL and lived with his wife in Pensacola, FL for 25 years before moving to Georgia. He was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church and retired from Solutia after 30 years. He loved to garden, was an avid New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves fan. He enjoyed playing the harmonica. He will be greatly missed.
